The backstory
When we arrived in Oregon, the first place we visited was the Oregon Coast. My “happy place” is Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach. This is a view of Haystack Rock from the Tolovana Park wayside beach entrance. Because I’ve been there multiple times, I always try different angles when taking photos. In this photo, I focused on the incoming high tide waves and let Haystack Rock be in the background.
