As mentioned in my last blog post, I’m highlighting my top 10 photos from 2019. Here’s #9!
Photo #9

The backstory
The day we went to Crown Point and the Bonneville Dam, I knew that the later we arrived, the worse the crowds would be. I pretty much set up this photo as soon as we got our equipment of the Jeep. I was very patient, waiting for no moving vehicles. I did get quite a few interesting looks, but most people just moved around me or walked in front of the camera. Since I was waiting for the perfect moment, I didn’t make a fuss. 🙂
This was an amazingly beautiful day in the Columbia River Gorge – it’s not often you get the blue skies, puffy white clouds, and sunshine. In June! That’s normally rainy weather time. 🙂 By the time we left, the parking was full and vehicles were circling for parking spots, so we headed to Bonneville Dam.
