When we reached Oregon in May, 2019, our first stop after settling in was to visit the Oregon Coast. I have photographed the Peter Iredale shipwreck several times. Every time we see it, more of it is gone, victim to the ravages of time.
The shipwreck has been a tourist attraction since it wrecked. We arrived early enough to get plenty of photos and video of the wreck before the crowds descended. We left when it became crowded, and headed for lunch near Seaside. Who knows how much of the shipwreck will be left the next time we visit?
