Arizona: Desert Botanical Garden

A friend we made at the xScapers convergence in Deming, NM is in the Phoenix area until the end of the year and had never seen the Desert Botanical Garden. We offered her one of our guest passes, and she joined us on Friday morning. Despite not living in or around the Phoenix area, we have paid our membership through the end of 2020. If you are going to visit more than once with two people, membership makes sense. And the Desert Botanical Garden is part of the American Horticultural Society Reciprocal Admission Program.

We took her to some of our favorite spots in the garden.

Close up photos

I took a few photos focusing on the details.

Don't touch this cactus! Ouch. :)

Blue skies

I can’t resist capturing landscapes with blue skies and wispy clouds.
