Texas: Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

I was excited to see that Maren Morris was performing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Especially since we’d be staying not too far away in Willis, Texas.

The rodeo started at 3:45 p.m. and had 8 competitors in each of the competitions. While I got a few photos, the use of the zoom on my compact camera quickly depleted my battery. Once this battery wore out, I put my camera away until Maren Morris came out, since I had a backup battery.

Right as the concert began.

It was a great experience – we can’t wait to go back in two weeks to see Brad Paisley.
