Arizona: Buckeye Air Fair, Day 1

Day 1 of the Buckeye Air Fair had some amazing aerobatic performances…and horrible, gray skies.

Don’t get me wrong…the aerobatic performances themselves were awesome. Nature’s backdrop, however, left a lot to be desired.

The Air Fair also featured the Copperstate Fly-in, an event designed to encourage youth, provide education, and help support scholarship programs for youth seeking careers in the aerospace industry.

There were lots of fun, experimental planes to look at in the fly-in area.

And the cool Wild Sky Goat trikes:

But really, the fun (for us) happened on Sunday, when the sun came out and the cloud cover was minimal. Stay tuned for my next post!
