New Mexico: Rock Hound State Park

We joined some of the convergence attendees heading to Rock Hound State Park, even though we weren’t going to hike along with them. While they hiked, we stayed around the Visitor Center and captured some video and photos.

This looks like a really cool place to check out when it’s not so hot – we got there at around 9:30 and it was already too hot for us to hike. That didn’t stop the others, but this was more of a scouting trip for us to see if it was worth coming back.
